Naomi Kemper, ACCA All-American has left for a two-week mission trip to Africa. She joins 10 other students along with President Ken Kemper (Naomi’s father) for ministry and service projects throughout Tanzania, Africa. Naomi was born in Africa and lived there the first 13 years of her life before moving back to the states.
Naomi is excited about going back to her roots, although language training was pretty intense. “Pray for me as I help translate for our students and be used by God in a most unique way.”
This is just another example of Grace Bible College’s desire and goal to get students out into the world of actual service. This experience for Naomi will be invaluable as the entire volleyball team prepares for next year’s mission trip to Costa Rica. The leadership she gains on this trip to Africa will most certainly give her great insight and challenge to being more of a leader in her volleyball career at Grace.
