Coach Spooner welcomed the new freshman recruits this morning the only way a coach should, by handing them their camp work out schedule for the week. “It was great to see all five of them here this morning and on their way to Grace Adventures for the athlete freshman orientation.” Coach Spooner said.
Jessica Ryan-Hopkins, MI; Ashley Holcomb-Janesville, WI; Rayna DoBrodt-Mishawaka, IN; Shelby Jamieson-Wayland, MI and Britteny Ramirez-Lowell, MI all left this morning with the rest of the fall sport recruits for a week of orientation celebrated with the Community Life staff of Grace Bible College. The rest of the freshman will start their time at the end of the month but these student athletes needed to be here earlier so as to not miss practices or matches.
“This group of young ladies might be one of the best recruiting classes in years.” Coach Spooner noted and said, “I expect everyone of them to contribute right away to our teams success and should make practices the most competitive they’ve been in years.”
Formal practice starts a week from today with a kick-off luncheon with Community Life.
