The goal was to compete for every point. The end result was great competition for many points but the ones that counted most, cost the Tigers dearly. “We have to mature as a team and find a way to be consistent in our competitive nature.” Coach Spooner pointed out afterward. “We have definitely improved with our new rotation and other changes but the lack of effort at critical times in each set is something we must overcome to get to the next level” One bright spot for the Tigers was the play of Erin Befus, who played back row in the absence of Stephanie Miller, who was traveling to Tennessee due to a death in the family. “Erin played outstanding and was quite the inspiration for the rest of the team.”
The Tigers play Rochester college Thursday night at home then travel on Saturday for critical ACCA National seeding match-ups with Dayspring Bible College and Emmaus Bible.
