Grace started out strong in their match against Dayspring College, but ultimately fell in 3 sets; 19-25, 18-25, 21-25. The Tigers started out going back and forth point for point with Dayspring, but a lapse of intensity caused the Tigers to fall behind. The team struggled to come together and play as a team tonight throughout the entire match, which caused them to not be able to hold on to a lead. Although the Tigers lost and struggled with intensity, they did a great job of playing through adversity and through a change in the line-up.
Nichole Galbicsek led the Tigers tonight with 11 kills, Naomi Kemper added in 7 kills. Aubree Domsic dished out 15 assists.
The Tigers played strong as a team defensively, Naomi Kemper added in 15 digs, Nichole Galbicsek had 12, Michelle Kamps added in 11 and Aubree Domsic had 10. Gabrielle Blickley and Naomi Kemper added in 2 solo blocks as well to help out our defense.
