Aubree Domsic Volunteers With Church Youth Group

Sophomore Setter/Outside Hitter Aubree Domsic spends her Sunday nights working with the middle school youth group at her home church Frontline Bible Church. Aubree is a part of youth group meetings every Sunday night and she also leads a middle school girl’s small group. Along with that she goes to the events and hangs out with the students, which gives her a chance to get to know them and share her faith with them.

“Aubree has been a huge part in our program not only in her athletic ability, but also as a positive example to the other players on the team. She is a great leader on our team both on and off the court.”- Coach Masselink

#11 Gabrielle Blickley Volunteers at Campau Park Elementary

Gabrielle Blickley, Grace Bible’s Freshman middle Blocker has been volunteering two days a week at Campau Park Elementary. She has been a volunteer there for almost three years. While volunteering she has had the opportunity to work with both kindergarteners and 1st graders. This opportunity gives her the chance to help students that are struggling with different aspects in their lives. Most of the students that she interacts with come from single parent homes or are raised by a teen mother. A number of the kids are also around substance abuse.

Gabby is given the opportunity to share God’s love with the kids, when a lot of them aren’t received love at home. Not only is she having an impact on their lives, but they are also having an impact on her life. They are the reason that she chose to get her degree in teaching.

Grace Bible Adds Tough Local Competition to 2013 Schedule

Grace Bible has a great, but tough schedule coming up for the 2013 season. The schedule this fall includes NAIA’s Cornerstone University and Aquinas College. Grace Bible will face off against Aquinas on September 17. Aquinas was 18-19 overall for their 2012 season and 6-5 in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference. They will be competing against Cornerstone as a Tri-match on September 13. Cornerstone was 24-10 overall for their 2012 season and 9-6 in the WHAC.

Grace Bible’s Cally Baker Joins the Volleyball Team

Cally Baker will be joining Grace Bible’s volleyball team this coming fall. Cally is a Worship Arts major here at Grace. She is a graduate of White Pigeon High School. She will be joining the team as a 5’3 Defensive Specialist. She is the daughter of Scott and Jennifer Baker and Leann and Myron Fuller and has three brothers, Todd, Mark and Brett. “Cally practiced with us a few times last year, she brings a lot of energy to the team. She wanted to play last year, but wasn’t able to due to her work schedule. We are very excited that she is able to be a part of our team this year.”–Coach Masselink.

Grace Bible’s Allyssa Thompson Joins the Volleyball Team

Allyssa Thompson will be joining Grace Bible’s volleyball team this coming fall as a sophomore student. Allyssa is a Worship Arts major here at Grace. She is a 2012 graduate of Hudsonville High School. She will be joining the team as a 5’11 Middle Hitter. She is the daughter of Dave and Terri and has two brothers, Chris and Casey. “Allyssa brings a lot of talent and height to the team. We are very excited for her to become a part of our team and our program, I think she will be a great asset to our team,” –Coach Masselink.

Grace Heads Back to Moody Bible for 2013 Tournament

Grace Bible heads back to Chicago to Moody Bible this 2013 season. They will be in Chicago for the tournament September 27-28. The Moody Bible tournament is one of the players at Grace Bible’s favorite tournaments to go to and play in. The campus is beautiful and it is always fun to play downtown in the city. The team will be also be traveling to Lincoln, IL for their first tournament of the season.

We wil be honoring our two seniors from the volleyball team on this Saturday, January 26 at 4pm. The seniors we will be honoring this year are Naomi Kemper and Nichole Galbicsek. They have both been great leaders and examples to this program and they are going to be missed.
