Grace was out-shot (32-1) and out-played, but not out-worked.  The Tigers kept the host Crusaders out of the goal for the first 25 minutes of the match, but found themselves down 0-4 at the half.  The final score (0-10) does not indicate the efforts expended by the Grace women.  The players have made tremendous improvement as a team over the course of the season.  In this final contest, goalkeeper Kerie Rudd made 22 saves.  Grace’s lone shot-on-goal was an attempt by Tabitha McIntosh.  With the majority of the players returning next season, the Lady Tigers look to build on this first-season foundation.
