The roster for the Lady Tigers will be a little fuller this fall as seven incoming freshman have committed to play for GBC.  Not only will the numbers be better, but additional playing experience should lead to a better brand of soccer as well.  The Tigers are hopeful they will be able to continue to grow as a program in their third season of existence.

“One huge key to the success of this year’s team will be how the squad is able to gel together,” commented Coach Heger.  “It will be important for the incoming freshman to adjust to the more physical, faster paced, collegiate game.  Equally important will be how quickly the returning players get to know each individual style of play from the freshman.  There will be a bit of a learning curve.  However, this is a great group of girls and we are expecting the transition to be seamless.”
