The Grace Bible College Tigers made the eight hour trip down to Owensboro, Kentucky on Friday to battle the Bearcats of Brescia.  The ladies fought hard throughout the 90 minutes of play but in the end dropped the match in a close decision 1-2.  The Tigers had a strong wind at their backs in the first half and capitalized on the opportunity.  With only 5 minutes left in the first half Courtney Glinka threw a ball into a streaking Jessica Pegg.  Pegg took a positive touch away from her defender which created enough space for her to rip a ball from 25 yards out.  The 1-0 stood until 25 minutes left in the match when the Bearcats capitalized on a corner kick.  GBC was trying desperately to send the game into overtime but with only 4 minutes remaining in the game Brescia added the winning goal.  The loss was a heartbreaker but the Tigers will need to recover quickly as they will face Oakland City University Saturday morning.
