Joanne Coffey will be teaming up with the women’s soccer program this fall at Grace Bible College. Joanne is a graduate from Hopkins High School where she played soccer all four years. She was on the junior varsity squad her freshman year but was a varsity player for the final three years of her high school career. Joanne has also played on several different GVSA club teams over the years including USA (United Soccer Athletes), Alliance FC, and the Michigan Rovers and has participated on a few indoor teams in the offseason.
“The coaching staff is truly excited to have Joanne coming to Grace,” said Head Coach Steve Vissia. “We are confident that her playing experience will add an extra dimension to the team this year. Joanne’s desire to improve herself as a player is obvious with her dedication of playing year round. We are looking forward to seeing the impact she will make this fall.”
Joanne plans to major in missions at GBC. Joanne is the daughter of Dale and Joy Coffey.
