The Lady Tiger’s soccer season is only two months away and excitement about the upcoming season is building.  When Coach Vissia was asked about the 2012 fall season he emphasized continued growth.  “The coaching staff was very pleased with how the ladies came along last season.  We are hoping to build off that momentum and strive toward higher goals.  With the incoming recruiting class I believe there will be a marked improvement in the quality of play.  The hope is obviously that better play will lead to more wins but only time will answer that question.”

Coach Vissia continued, “Of course the real concern is whether or not the women’s soccer team is making an eternal impact or not.  Simply playing soccer without a greater purpose can entertain for a short period of time, but in the end it is empty.  Our desire is to be salt and light, to build lasting relationships, and to live our lives in such a way that others see the distinct difference between disciples of Christ and the world.  All of this is not for our benefit but for His glory.”
