The Grace Lady Tigers battled the offensive onslaught of the visiting Rochester College Warriors, and found themselves down 0-2 at the conclusion of the first half. Allowing a single goal in the second frame, but unable to mount a sufficient offensive attack, the team fell to 0 and ten at the end of the regular season with the three goal defeat. Goal keeper Kerie Rudd, back after an injury induced absence, made 24 saves in the game. Although the opponents managed 27 shots-on-goal, the Grace defenders were able to harry the shooter or challenge the majority of the attempts. Center midfielder, Laura Vinton, managed Grace’s lone try on goal. Grace will travel Thursday to Watertown, Wisconsin for a first round regional match against the host school Maranatha. Grace is the fourth seed, playing the first seed Maranatha in the game scheduled for 1:00 Friday.
