The Grace Lady Tigers traveled to Grayson, Kentucky for a match with Kentucky Christian University. The team demonstrated inspired play, and at times controlled the midfield, orchestrated by center midfielder Laura Vinton. The Grace side was unable though, to mount a significant offensive attack. Tina Mattias did get a shot on goal, and defender/midfielder, Erin Befus, was a presence all over the pitch. Regularly starting as a forward, Tabitha McIntosh filled in at the goalkeeper position. She totaled 16 saves on the game. Outstanding efforts were also given by the other defenders: Bree Stowers, Danae Benton and Kayleigh Holden. KCU proved to be the superior side, defeating the Tigers 7-0. Grace now has two weeks time before their last home contest against Rochester College on October 23.
