All the preseason work that the Men’s Soccer Team has been putting in was put together tonight during the inner squad game.  Team White was composed of Andrew Clark, Dan Pierpont, Nathan Porter, Joshua Armstrong, Nathan Colby, Alex Stoddard, Colt Niewenhuis, Asumani Iyakaremye, Ryan Snyder, Chris Thompson, while the Navy Team players were Jon Caprari, Cameron Toliver, Pablo Ciscomini, Drake Olsen, Travis Smith, Adam Renberg, Leonardo Caldas,  with Josh Befus, Nathan Porter, Kodie Palmer and Jon Proskey seeing time on both squads changing at halftime.  Team White went ahead after a cross that found Asu who did well to get onto the ball and head it home.  Team Navy responded well, getting fantastic goal from Leonardo Caldas on a quick turn and fire.  The game went into have tied.  Team Navy did not take long to go ahead showing a that their hard work rate created from midfield was able to get in behind Team White which enabled winger Nathan Porter to serve a quality ball into the box finished by Drake Olsen off a volley.  Team Navy held its ground and kept the scoreline winning 2-1.  The Tigers will face Robert Morris Lake County this Saturday, August 25th at 3:00 in their season and home opener.
