Tigers would be with out leading score Colt Nieuwenhuis as well as Asu, Jordan Finn, Alex Stoddard, and Andrew Clark, but would offer opportunity for others to step up.  Travis Smith (Wayland, Mi) made a full recovery from injury and started for the Tigers playing the full ninety minutes.  Josh Befus (Beloit, Wi) came close to opening the scoring but the ball was cleared off the line. Grace took the lead shortly after when Josh Armstrong’s (Muskegon, Mi) left footed strike found the corner.  The score would soon be doubled when defender Daniel Pierpont(Detroit, Mi) grab his first career goal with a quality hit from a pass sent by Ryan Snyder (Wyoming, Mi).  Armstrong would score again and then become provider finding Nathan Colby (Jenison, Mi) who would score two in the contest.  Chris Thompson (Hudsonville) also scored a goal  and is now the Tiger’s leading score with seven goals.   The final goal was scored in fine fashion as Marc Mullinex (Spokane, WA) grabbed his first college goal by taking his chance and latching onto a ball in the box with a rocket foot blast into net leaving the keeper no chance.
