Grace Men’s Soccer Team opened their season today with a home game against Robert Morris Lake County. The Tigers quickly found them down a goal and that set the tone for the entire game. “The way we played today was disappointing. We played without energy, without intensity, and without focus. This was clear to see from the first whistle. Down two at half, I would have liked a strong response going into the second half, but we never did. To let in that amount of goals is unacceptable”, said Coach Buchanan. The Tigers lost the match six to two. Freshman Nathan Colby earned his first points getting an assist to Alex Stoddard who scored both Tiger goals in the contest. Drake Olsen was man of the match. The Tigers will look to regroup heading into Friday’s game against a very good Marinatha Baptiste Bible College squad.
