The match today against Andrews did not start exactly how the host would have liked.
Grace conceded a goal just three minutes into the match. The bad start did not discourage the Tigers as they drew level when Aaron Weinss had a well taken penalty kick after a deliberate handball in the box. Within three minutes Grace took the lead off of Jonah Stacy’s shot from distance proving too much for the Andrews keeper. The second half was more the the same with Grace creating chance after chance. It was senior Ryan Snyder to be on the score sheet next with fantastic play by freshman Vasilij Kuiper who created a chance for Snyder to connect on a cool finish. Jonah Stacy would again score from a fantastic strike from distance leaving the keeper no chance. The final goal was capped by Aaaron Weinss’ incredible free kick placing it in the side netting. Grace out shot Andrews 15 to 4, and had the edge on corners by 9 to 2. Grace will now face NCCAA #1 ranked Moody Bible Institute on Saturday.
