The Tigers new the start of the season would be challenging and that continued in their
second game losing to Purdue Calumet. Grace welcomed youngsters from Wayland AYSO to watch the game, and although the Tigers gave a solid effort, they were not able to show them a victory. “We loved having the Wayland AYSO group out. Some of the players and I have spent a little time with them earlier in the year so it was great to have them out. The result of our game was disappointing but I think that they could see our effort even in a tough loss and displayed how to continue working hard even in such a tough game. Purdue Calumet is a quality and well coached team and proved to be too much for us today”, said Coach Buchanan. The schedule will not ease up as the Tigers travel to Holland, Michigan to take on NCAA III Hope College on Thursday night.
