All persons who are active or have prior military experience should submit their DD214 or DD295 to the Adult & Online Studies office during the application/evaluation process. The registrar will consider awarding transfer credit based upon the military training listed in the Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services published by the American Council of Education (ACE). There is no maximum amount of credits a student may receive based on their DD214 or DD295. A copy of your DD214 or DD295 must be included.
All courses or military training not listed on the student’s DD 214, DD 295, or evaluated by ACE may be used as a portfolio item. The same documentation must be used for non-ACE evaluated military coursework that is required for other portfolio prior learning.
