The Grace Sports fund-raising banquet on April 12th was well attended. Our guest speaker Rick Cooper from CCSN On-line sports network challenged us to work hard, and pay the price. He shared that salvation may be free, but it is not easy. Pastor Bernie Blauwkamp, father of incoming freshman Jake Blauwkamp from Grandville High School shared why their family chose to be part of the Grace family. He credited the Grace athletes and coaches excellent and humble attitude and behavior as being the convincing factor. Thanks to all the athletes and especially Zack Kemper, Chris Anton and Joel Schmuland for serving our delicious meal. The goal for this fund-raising event is to build a high quality weight and training room for Grace Athletes.
