The boys took home the hardware at the Run Thru the Rapids 5k in Grand Rapids October 9th.  There were 141 male runners in the race and the Grace men placed 2nd, 4th, 5th, 12th and 30th.  Zach Kemper was 2nd finisher in the race and 1st in his age group with a time of 18:06.  Scott Miller finished 4th in the race and 2nd in his age group with a time of 19:46.  Adam Wolf finished 5th overall and 3rd in his age group with a time of 19:51.  Colton Townley was the 12 male finisher and first in his age group with a time of 21:03.  Joel Schmuland was the 30th male and 2nd in his age group.  His time was 22:14.  This was the first 5k road race for 4 of the 5 runners and they all earned medals!  Awesome job.  Coach Stowers even joined in the fun and was the 4th female finisher and 2nd in her age group with a time of 24:06.
