Men’s NCCAA Division II Nationals

The men’s team competed in the NCCAA division II nationals November 13, 2010.  As a team they placed 7th in the national meet out of 9 teams represented.  The tigers were lead by senior Zack Kemper with a time of 30:32 to finish 16th .  Adam Wolf had a personal best with a time of 31:34 taking over a minute off his time and placing 25th.  Scott Miller also had his fastest time finishing 27th with a time of 32:24.  Colton Townley took over 3 minutes off his time.  His time and place were 33:58 and 32nd.  Joel Schmuland was the tiger’s fifth man with a time of 41:07 and 47th place.  Joel humbly claims to be as “slow as thunder”, but without him, the Tigers would not have a team.  So even though he ran with an injured back and didn’t get a PR, he was greatly appreciated. Thanks also to the fans who came to cheer the cross-country runners on: Coach Summerfield, Erin and Danea Benton, Whitney Bunch, and Naomi Kemper. Congratulations Tigers on your 7th place national championship.
