What fun in the MUD!  It was a beautiful day for the 2011 Mud Run.  There were many fun challenges on the course with names such as: Drum Line, Slippery Slope, Mad Moguls, There’s No Describing It, Orange Crush, Swamp Fever, Jericho’s Walls, Tube Top, Pre Lube, Triple Dip, Down and Dirty, Final Lube, and Trutsch’s Toilet.  Five ladies ran for Grace today.  Erin Willis was 6th in her age group for the 8am race, and 7th out of 42 for the combined 8am and 12am races with a time of 33:33.  Danielle Davies was 8th in her age group for the 8 am race, 14th out of 28 for the combined 8am and 12am race with a time of 42:37.  Lauren Asmussen and Sarah Amidon tied for 18th in the 8am race with a time of 54:48.  And Coach Stowers placed 1st for the 15 runners in her age group for the combined races with a time of 37:25.  After the race the runners donated their shoes to Sole Aid, learn more at www.soleaid.org.
