|A 1984 graduate of Forest Hills Central, Lisa set records in the mile, two mile and 5k and finished 13th in the State her senior year. She also ran indoor track at Grand Valley State University for two years. Lisa was an assistant coach at Forest Hills Central in 1989 and 1990. She was the Head Coach for both men and women at Tri-Unity Christian, 2002-2004, where her men’s team won Regionals and competed at the State meet.She has run the Fifth/Third 25K River Bank Run seven times, three marathons, and various other 5K and 10K runs. She is currently employed by Byron Center Charter Schools as the eighth grade teacher. She holds a B.S. in Secondary Education and a Masters of Education from GVSU. She has been married to husband David for 24 years and they have five children and two grandchildren.
