The Lady Tigers won their third game in a row and brought the “Cross Cup” back to the Aldrich Center. They defeated the Cougars of Kuyper College 79-74. “This was a good win for us,” said Coach Rich Renzema. “We are really starting to play more complete games without digging ourselves big holes. Kuyper was a very hot-shooting team tonight and we just kept battling back every time they made a run.” The Lady Tigers shot 13-16 from the line which kept them in the game down the stretch.
Jessica Sikorski again led Grace with 31 points and 17 rebounds. Shelby Jamieson scored 24 points to go along with 9 boards. Liz Nelson turned in a fine performance with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Grace shot 43% from the floor compared to 42% for Kuyper. Grace also held an advantage in rebounds at 41-25.
The Tigers will be in action again this Friday and Saturday when they host the Christmas Tournament and take on Crossroads College at the Aldrich Center on the campus of Grace Bible College.
