Manitowac, WI: The Lady Tigers completed their roadtrip with another win as they defeated Silver Lake College 60-57. “This was a wild game,” said Coach Renzema. “Our girls are really starting to play well. Getting the two sport athletes back has been a blessing. We are starting to play like we are capable.”
Jessica Sikorski paced Grace with 23 points, 22 rebounds and 6 steals. Freshman Shelby Jamieson scored 20 and Stephanie Miller 11. Freshman Ty Stokes pulled down 12 rebounds. Liz Nelson led GBC with 4 assists.
The Tigers had three players foul out in todays game. “I was happy with our bench play tonight,” said Renzema. “Ashley Holcomb really played well for us tonight.”
Silver Lake outrebounded the Tigers 56-53.
The Tigers will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Kuyper College for the Cross Cup.
