The Lady Tigers took a second shot at Southwestern Saturday, following a loss to the eagles the night before. The Tigers’ came out aggressive, hanging with the Eagles for much of the first half. Southwestern quickly turned up the heat with a full-court press in the second half. The intense defense put the Tigers at a deficit, and the Eagles took the victory with a final score of 72 to 48. Stephanie Miller led the Tigers in scoring with 15 points, followed by Jessica Sikorski with 9, and Heidi Salmon with 8. Sikorski dominated the boards, pulling down 12 rebounds for the Tigers.
