Liz Nelson scores 17 points

The Lady Tigers went to the ACCA National Championships with only 6 players and played the final game with only 5. They lost the first game in overtime 66 to 64, which was a great game to watch and play. They won the second game 77 to 61 showing some tired legs in the game. The third game was against a tough team from Kanas, Barclay College. With one player having to leave early the Tigers went into the last game with only 5 players. We had a great effort today with no one holding anything back, said Coach Renzema. We.trailed by 4 at half but kept it close. With almost 5 minutes left in the game, Alex Rios committed her 5th foul and left the Tigers with only 4 players on the court. With 3 minutes left the ladies cut the lead to 3 points but could not get any closer. The final score was 69 to 62. Ashton Willis played a great defensive game today and Jessica Sikorski had 31 points and 14 rebounds. Liz Nelson had a great floor game and scored 17 points.

With all the players that we have coming back and the new recruits coming in, it looks very bright for the Tigers next season.
