1) How long have you been coaching basketball and have you coached any other sports?

This will be my 42nd season of basketball.  I coached at the junior high and junior varsity level for a total of six seasons. I coached high school varsity for 28 seasons.   This will be my eighth season at Grace.  I have coached men’s track for nine years, women’s track for 19 years, cross country five years, women’s golf for six years.  For many years I coached both men and women’s basketball.

2) How long do you plan on coaching at Grace?

I am having a great time working with the young women and men at Grace. They are a great group of young people.  The instructors and staff are so helpful at the college and I enjoy every day I am here.  As long as I enjoy what I am doing, I will continue to coach.

3) How was your recruiting year?

This will be the strongest recruiting class I have ever had at Grace.  We have added 10 new players with good basketball backgrounds and skills.  We will have more speed than we have had in my eight years at Grace.

4) What can we look for this season?

We hope to be able to have a much faster pace game then we have had over the past several seasons.  We will be deeper and able to use more players.   Early in the season, we play many of the top teams in the NCCAA  II and our young players will be really challanged.  By the middle of the season, we hope for some exciting basketball from this group.
