Jessica Sikorski Earns 1st Team All-American Honors

Over the course of the season, the Lady Tigers never knew exactly what kind of defense the particular opponents were going to play.  However, they did know that whether a team played zone or man defense that Jessica Sikorski was going to face double and sometimes triple teams every night she put on the Grace uniform.    Despite getting the special attention, Jessica led the nation in scoring with an average of 22.7 points and was second nationally in rebounding with 14.4 per game making her an easy selection as a First Team All-American.

Jessica finished her career with over 2,500 points and is Grace’s all time leading scorer and the leading scorer for any women’s basketball program in West Michigan.

“Jessica has been such a mainstay and a force for our program,” said Coach Rich Renzema about his star player.  “She opened things up for the other players on the court because the other teams often had to dedicate two players to defend her.”

“Jessica has worked very hard to improve her game and has been a great representative of Grace Bible College on and off the court.”
