Inside Game and Unselfish Play Lift Lady Tigers to 2nd Win in Minnesota.

Post players Jessica Sikorski and Marissa Pelletier dominated the game from the paint as the Lady Tigers defeated NCAA Division 3 Crown College by the score of 75-52.  Sikorski scored 27 points on 12-17 shooting from the floor and was the leading rebounder with 13.  Pelletier was an outstanding 11-12 from the field and finished with 23 points and added 8 rebounds.  Stephanie Miller was also in double figures with 13 points, including 3-3 from beyond the arc. 

The Lady Tigers played a very unselfish game and and had 28 assists on 37 made field goals.  Naomi Walker and Cassie Hidalgo each had six assists, Jessica Sikorski with five, and Stephanie Miller added four.  The Lady Tigers did a great job of handling the Crown press and managed to score several easy baskets by attacking the pressure. 

“The girls did a great job of finding the open player today and made the extra pass a lot of times to turn a good shot into a great percentage shot” Coach Renzema noted after the game.  “The girls really played unselfishly and we even received comments from the game officials after the game on how well they shared the ball.”

The Lady Tigers’ next game will be Tuesday, November 22 when they travel to Detroit to take on Marygrove.
