Christine Michael to Play Hoops for the Lady Tigers

Christine Michael, a point guard from Providence Christian High School, has signed to play basketball at Grace Bible College.  Christine is a quick player known more for her assists and steals than her scoring, but she does possess an accurate touch from beyond the three-point arc and a knack for hitting critical shots.  Christine broke two school records, most assists in a game and in a season, for the Storm.

Christine is a very good all-around athlete and will also be playing soccer at Grace for Coach Vissia.

“Coach Vissia talked to me about Christine and her desire to play basketball at Grace”, Coach Renzema commented about Christine.  “We saw her play for about five minutes and we instantly knew we had ourselves a winner.  She does a lot of great things on the court and really plays hard.  She has very quick hands and feet and is going to be a lot of fun to coach and for the fans to watch.”

Christine is the daughter of Art and Lori Michael.  She has two older brothers, Eric and Brian; and two older sisters, Amanda and Brenda.

Christine commented on her decision to play basketball at Grace,”I’m so excited to have the opportunity to play college basketball, especially for Grace.  I can’t wait to meet all of my future teammates and develop  more as a player.  I think Grace will be a pefect growing place for my faith.”
