The Tigers looked to continue their success by recruiting from Wayland High School by signing Travis Rader today. Rader, a shooting guard will bolster the Tigers outside game. The 6’4″ lefty is also very good coming off the dribble. “I am really happy that Travis is coming to Grace,” said Coach Bailey. “He is a terrific young man, a great student, and will fit in nicely with our style of play. Wayland has been very good for us and this is just another great example.”
With a 3.6 gpa, Travis has been an Honor Roll student all four years of high school. He is the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award in 2009 and 2010. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
His varsity record the last two seasons was 23-1 and 17-6. Tyler received an All-County nomination in Allegan County. He attends Gun Lake Community Church and is excited to be a part of the Grace team and said, “I’m coming to Grace Bible because it is a great place to pursue God. It is also a great chance to play basketball with a great team and coach.”
Travis is the son of Mike and Nancy Kanoza. Travis has one brother, Mike, who just finished his career at Lake Superior State University (NCAA II).
