Coach Gary Bailey and Jerry Hop of J & H Oil golfed together this summer and the two began a conversation that ended up in the Aldrich Center gymnasium tonight.  Jerry argued that his staff at J & H Oil had some great people and great ball players that could hang with the Grace team in an open gym.  Last night the two squads came together for an evening of fun and fellowship in the open gym.  “Jerry’s Jumpers”, made up of employees of J & H Oil, Jerry’s granddaughter and her friend, and 74 year old Jerry himself came out and ran with the team.

“It was great having our friend Jerry bring in his work family and his own family in to run with us tonight,” said Coach Bailey.  “Everyone enjoyed the workout.  I told Jerry that I hope I can still get up and down the floor as well as he can when I’m 74.  He is in great shape!  I hope we can do it again.”
