Grace displayed a focused team effort in a convincing win over regional opponent Lincoln Christian University.  “This was a good win for us heading into the toughest part of our regular season schedule,” commented Coach Gary Bailey.  The Tigers’ next eight games feature trips to Alaska and Hawaii against four NCAA DII teams as well as two games against NAIA power Cornerstone University, and the Hope College tourney featuring a rematch against Davenport University for the third time this year and a contest with Madonna University or Hope College.  “I was pleased with the way the team executed our game plan,” said Coach Bailey.  The Tigers played good defense throughout the game, outshot the Lions 58% – 41% from the field, and dominated the boards 43 – 25.  Allen Durham, with 34 points and 14 rebounds, and Ryan Krombeen, with 16 points and 9 rebounds, led the Tiger attack.  Jon Wallace led the Lions with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

The win was the 27th straight NCCAA II win for Grace and the 100th at Grace for Coach Gary Bailey and his staff of Coach Kyle Bohl and Coach Dan George.
