The Tigers continue to build for the future by signing Trent Karnemaat out of Fremont, MI. Trent is a 6’3″ forward who played for the local home school team. He averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game and was voted MVP as well as the defensive player of the year. Trent stated, “I selected Grace because of their mission statement, their life after basketball philosophy, and I really liked the coaching staff. I am looking forward to learning the game at the next level.”
Trent is the son of Kent and Kim Karnemaat of Fremont and is the second player from the family to put on the Tiger uniform. Trent’s older brother, Nathan, played on the 2009 national championship team.
“We are very excited to have Trent at Grace. The Karnemaat’s are wonderful people and we feel fortunate to have them in the GBC family. Trent is a hard worker and that is what we look for here. We are happy he chose Grace,” said Coach Gary Bailey.
