Coach Gary Bailey has announced the signing of Michael Childress, a 5’11″ guard out of Chicago, IL.  Michael played his high school ball at Crete-Monee where he was a three year varsity player and a two year captain.  After high school Michael played one year for Northern New Mexico College where he averaged 9 points and 5 assists.  “I love spending time with my family, young people and attending my church,” said Michael.  “I can’t wait to get on campus and become a Tiger and help keep their winning tradition going.

“Michael has great floor vision and a really nice three point shot.  He is a polite young man and fits well into the type of person and player that we look for at Grace,” said Coach Bailey.
