Tigers Fall To Spring Arbor University

The Tigers traveled to Spring Arbor today to take on the Cougar’s and lost 84-68. The lead changed hands several times in the first half with SAU leading 43-40 at the half. GBC took the lead briefly in the second half before giving up the lead for good at the 12:40 mark. “We hit a wall offensively for about a five minute stretch and that was the difference tonight” said coach Gary Bailey. “They are an excellant ball club and we played with them for 35 minutes tonight….. that five minutes was the difference. We can’t turn the ball over 28 times and win many games either.”

Grace was led by Allen Durham with 27 points and 16 rebounds. Brandon Clahassey added 14 points and Cory Jamieson 11. Clahassey and Ryan Krombeen had 4 assists apiece. Grace continued their poor free throw shooting making only 8 of 19, but shot 55% from the floor.

Grace will stay busy playing Great Lakes Christian College at home on Monday and travel to Andrews University on Tuesday.
