The Tigers jumped out to an early first half lead but could not hold on for the victory against The University of Alaska Anchorage and fell 81-69 to the NCAA II team. The Tigers led the entire first half and led by as many as 13 at the 8 minute mark. The Sea Wolves took their first lead just before the half and took a 40-38 into the locker room. “They hit a barrage of three’s right before the half and we went a little cold. They also beat us up and down the floor which doesn’t happen to us much. We looked a little tired tonight at times,” said Coach Bailey. “Their big man, and I mean big man, really used his body well and hurt us inside. I have never seen Durham look so small beside someone before.
