Grace fell to 7-4 on the season as they lost a heartbreaker to Davenport University 77-74. The Panthers (8-3) opened an 11-2 lead after the first few minutes and Grace could not get it back. The game was close throughout and tied often but GBC never had a lead. Allen Durham led Grace with 19 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Paul Nelson added 12 and Cory Jamieson 10 points to go along with 6 assists. The Tigers were outrebounded 41-31. “We are really struggling from the free throw line and I can’t figure out why” said Coach Gary Bailey. “We are a great group of shooters but we can’t hit a free throw.” Grace shot a miserable 7-15 from the line.

Grace will host Great Lakes Christian College on Tuesday night at 7:00pm.
