The Tigers faced a long bus ride home from Grayson, Kentucky Saturday night, made sweeter by three consecutive convincing wins over some of the top teams in the NCCAA. Relying once again on a stingy defense, dominating rebounding and power inside offense Grace defeated host Kentucky Christian University in the Super 8 Tourney final game 71-57.
Allen Durham once again paced the Tigers with 19 points, 7 assists, and 11 rebounds. He was backed by Ryan Dame with 12 points, Matt Kurtz with 10 points, and the trio of Dan Dame, Cory Jamieson, and Ryan Krombeen with 8 each. The Tiger bench once again contributed valuable minutes, scoring, and defense led by Kurtz and Aaron Schutte.
The Tigers face the Knights of Calvin College on Friday night, November 19, at Calvin College.
