Grace/Moody To Play At Wayland High School

The Tigers of Grace Bible College and Moody Bible Institute out of Chicago, IL have agreed to move their game on Saturday, January 30th to Wayland High School in Wayland.  “I have had a bunch of people ask me if we could do something special this year because it is so unusual to have five players from one high school on the same college team,” said Head Coach Gary Bailey.  ” I called Mike Hudson (basketball coach at Wayland) and asked him what he thought about moving a game to Wayland HS and he loved the idea.  I also spoke to Coach Dan Dunn at Moody and he was very gracious to allow us to move the game even though it meant that they would get home much later.”

Five former “Wildcats” now wear “Tiger” uniforms.  Dan Dame, Cory Jamieson, Carl Getty, Ryan Dame, and Greg Salmon.  “When I told the guys we were going back to Wayland for a game, the entire team was excited as much as the Wayland guys,” said Bailey.

The Tigers will square off against the Archers at 5:30pm
