Grace Wins 6th In A Row

The Tigers played a very hot shooting Andrews University team and came away with a 74-64 win at the Aldrich Center, in Grand Rapids.  “This team made some pretty amazing shots against us tonight,” said Coach Gary Bailey.  “I felt like we defended the perimeter well but they still hit some pretty tough shots.  They made 14 3′s on us tonight and every one was impressive with a defender right in their face.  Their offensive sets were very good too.  We really had to work for this one.”

The Cardinals hit 14 for 31 from the arc for 46%.  They were limited to only ten, two point baskets on the night.  The Tigers held a 38-19 rebound advantage.

Grace was led by Allen Durham’s 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Four other Tigers would hit double figures with Ryan Dame hitting for 13, Dan Dame 11, Ryan Krombeen 10 and John Oostema 10.  Dan Dame led Grace with 6 assists.

After playing three games in four days and ten games in the last twenty-one days, the Tigers will get a little rest as they head to Dubuque, IA for the NCCAA II Midwest Region Tip-off Tournament after the holiday weekend.
