The Tigers ran into a buzz saw on Tuesday night in Berrian Springs, Michigan but escaped with a 57-56 win. The Cardinals scored the first ten points of the game and the Tigers had to scratch and claw to get the lead late and hold on for the victory. Allen Durham led all scorers with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Clahassey had 12 points and Ryan Krombeen added 9 points with 5 assists. Grace outrebounded Andrews 32-22. Grace also shot 1-18 from behind the arc for 5%. “We were very fortunate tonight to get out of here with a win”, said Coach Gary Bailey. “Andrews is a much improved team and they showed great discipline and toughness. We never found a rythm or a comfort zone in our game. We have to get better.”
Grace leaves on Wednesday for Charleston, SC to take on The Citadel on Friday night at 6:05pm.
