Allen Durham and the area pro players pulled away late to beat Coach Gary Bailey and three recent grads from Grace – Ryan Krombeen, John Oostema, and Matt Kurtz in the annual Champions of Character game at Cornerstone University.  The final score was 108-93.  The game was close throughout with both teams holding the lead in both halves.

“The Pro team seemed like they had a whole different gear than we had,” said Coach Gary Bailey.  “And, they are big!  The had three guys right at 7’0″ and everybody on that team can fill it up.  But it is fun and for charity so it was fun to have a great seat for the show the kids put on.”

Coach Bailey was honored with the 2012 Champions of Character All-Star Classic Glenn Van Wieren Coach Award at the game.
