It’s the third full day of enjoying our time here in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida. It was the day before our first game, and it would prove to be our best day yet. We started off the day earlier than most would have desired, as the bus left for practice at 7:30 am. We made it to the gym, where we had a shoot around for about an hour. At the end of practice was the legendary t-shirt 3 point shooting contest. Five t-shirts were on the line, purchased the day before from a surf shop in Cocoa Beach. At the end of the contest Nick Mascarro, Nick Van Loo, Greg Salmon, Coach Bailey, and I took home the t-shirts. Directly after practice we went off to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. It was a fantastic time filled with roller coasters, interactive rides, stuffed animals, and lots of foreigners. Majority of the time in the park I felt as though I was in a different country, as every person I came in contact with did not speak English. The day was filled with fun, and it ended perfectly, as most of the guys headed to the hot tub to wind down. It was a blessing to be able to have this experience with a great group of guys.
