During a recent open gym at Grace, Allen Durham caught a lob pass and shatterd the backboard on the dunk.  “It’s the first time that has ever happened” said Durham.  “Fortunately, the rim stayed connected to the backboard and didn’t come down.  The glass landed on some people but no one was injured.”

“I’m glad no one was injured” said Coach Gary Bailey.  “I was out with my wife and I received a text and a picture from someone at the gym that said Allen just dunked on a 6’8″ guy and shattered the backboard.”  I inspected the board this morning and I can see that we are fortunate no one was hurt.  It is a great story for the guys that were there to see it.”
