Dan Dame came off the bench to score 12 points and grab 6 rebounds to go along with 2 assists and 2 blocks to help secure a 79-67 win over Moody in Chicago, IL. Grace opened up a twenty point lead late in the first half and led by sixteen at the half. Moody would not go away quietly as they cut the lead to three in the second half. “Dan had two nice dunks that gave us an emotional lift when we were taken out of it by Moody late in the second half” , said Coach Gary Bailey. “He played with a lot of poise when we had some foul issues and did a great job for us. Moody is a very well coached team and we had talked this week about how they play in their gym and how disciplined they are. They never stopped coming at us. They probably played us as well as anyone this year.”
Allen Durham led Grace with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Krombeen scored 10 and Brandon Herlein had 10 and 7 rebounds. Both teams shot 45% from the floor but Moody held a 45%-35% lead from the arch. The Tigers outrebounded Moody 49-26.
Grace plays their final regular season game on Thursday at home against Maranatha.
