Coach Bailey, George, Bohl, and Oldebekking golfed in the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan “Coaches -vs- Cancer golf outing today at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing.  The event raised over $20,000 for the charity today.  College and high school coaches from around the state participated in the event.

“It was a really great time today,” said Coach Gary Bailey.  “It was nice to see some of the other college coaches from around the state.  We were actually able to do a little scheduling for the 2012-13 season as well.  It was a great event and it felt good to be a part of raising money for cancer research.”

Bailey was selected as the BCAM College Coach of the Year in May.  He is pictured above with the other GBC coaches and Michigan State Coach Tom Izzo, a three time winner of the award.

The Tiger coaches shot an -8 par to take 11th out of 36 spots.
