The men’s basketball team has traveled to Evart, MI every year for the last six years to spend time with the kids at Pineview Boys Home. Today, some of the staff of Pineview, brought some of the boys from the home to Fremont, MI to help the Tigers with their fundraising effort. ” It was great to have so much help today in the squash field”, said Head Coach Gary Bailey. “Kent Karnemaat of Karnemaat Farms is a great friend and he offered us the oportunity to work picking squash this fall to help earn money for our Hawaii trip this year. It is really hard work and it was great that the Pineview boys came down to help. We have spent alot of time at Pineview over the years working and playing along side the boys and today they gave up their time to help us. I also want to thank the staff, Steve and Drew, for coming down and working so hard.”
The Tigers will begin practice next month to kick off their 2009-10 season.
