The Grace JV’ers had the tough task of driving up to Midland to take on the Northwood Timberwolves Monday night. The game was close through out but the Tigers ended up losing late 68-62. ” This game was actually very similar to the first game that we played with them, a tightly contested battle, that they won with a back breaking three.” The three last night came with under 2 minutes to go. “ They have one player who you absolutely can’t leave open and we got lost on a defensive assignment and he hit the three to put them up for good.” explained Coach Oldebekking after the game.
All nine players tallied in the score book for the Tigers who were led by Jordan Bylsma’s 14 points. “Jordan has been so steady for us lately, his production has been up and his turnovers have been down.” coach Oldebekking also had special praise for Mike Mokma. ” This is is my second year coaching Mike and this was probably his best game, he really came to play, and did exactly what we asked him to do.”
